UX Design in Figma

There are many design tools for creating apps and web designs, but Figma is one of the most popular platforms due to its ability to have a large group of people, all working on the same file at the same time.

This section showcases some of the rough mock-ups along with some completed designs I created in Figma. From a UX Design perspective, these are complete designs, but I'm not a computer engineer or programmer so I can't complete the final coding for launch.

For example; some of these designs were made to be "responsive". This means that there are 3 or more different designs made to match the screen size that the user is viewing the website on.  I don't know how to code that, or some of the disability features I would have liked to put in this website.  This website was built by WIX so I can only demonstrate what those tools allow me to do.

User Research for UX Design

Despite the name User Experience Design, the design part is only one element of the UX Designer's job.  A big part of the job is also doing the research and the usability studies, and then extracting that data to use in presentations to the stakeholders.

This section shows some of the research I did for a guitar store app and the data extracted from it.
